So polite, Susanna.
Reading with Grandma (the blue thing is a Sousaphone, you know). She's moving to Florida soon, we'll miss her so much!
Latest quote from Ben...
Mommy: (walking in upon hearing Susanna cry) "Ben, what happened to Susanna?"
Ben: "I conducted her."
And Susanna is starting to sign! She now has a choice when she's hungry; she can do her usual hungry-bear grunt, or sign for "more"!
Apologies for not updating this more often lately; Jan-March is typically loaded with ministry activities, winter sickness, birthdays, and our yearly opportunity to trust the Lord as homeowners. Yes, that last one has come for the last 3 years during tax season, when some part of our house chooses to break, die, or otherwise cost us a lot of money. The first year it was the washer. Last year, the dryer died. This year it's some old pipes in our crawl space that have cracked. So much for being tied to things of this world, like nice tax returns, since they have gone to such pleasurable replacements and repairs the last 3 years. In all seriousness, apparently I needed this to help me remember that my hope and security are in the riches found only in Christ, and that He provides my daily needs as I desire His will to be done (see Matthew 6, the whole chapter!).
